In Focus: Aqua Civil
Aqua Civil is a Sydney Water Accredited Constructor/Supplier and Service Protection Reporter.
We are in the Building and Construction Industry. After a few years in Residential and Commercial Plumbing, we saw the opportunity to combine our Plumbing business with becoming an Accredited Sydney Water Constructor/Supplier. By the year 2000, we decided to specialise completely in Sydney Water and Civil Construction work. We specialise in Minor Works and Major Works and have worked all over Sydney CBD to Wollongong and even as far as Mittagong and the Blue Mountains.
In that time we have done a wide range of works from small minor works construction e.g. sewer sidelines to large major works such as Amplification of Water Mains up to 2400mm stormwater main diversions.
By 2005 we became an Accredited Sydney Water Service Protection Reporter which enabled us to provide Service Protection Reports also known as “Pegout Reports”. We are a family-owned and operated business and we pride ourselves on providing a personalised and high-quality service every time.
Aqua Civil have all the necessary insurances, certificates and accreditations to ensure your job is completed efficiently and professionally and in accordance with Sydney Water Standards. All our staff have extensive experience and qualifications.
This year 2022 in June we will be celebrating 25 years as a Sydney Water Constructor and 17 years as a Service Protection Reporter.
What We Do: Water Mains , Storm Water Construction, Diversions & Upgrades, Sewer Mains, Excavations, Sewer Manholes, Sewer Property Connection Point, Pegouts/ Service Protection Reports
We are a small family business, Husband and wife team with both sons involved, 1 of our sons is a fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic servicing our machines and truck and Labouring on the side, and our other son is still at school but does Labouring on the weekends and in the school holidays. We have other staff which we regard as part of our family, 1 Admin Assistant part time, 1 Apprentice, Team Leader and Plumber. All up we have 8 staff. Our office and factory is located in Kirrawee, south of Sydney.
We went through Certification with Global-Mark because they were easy to deal with and have very knowledgeable staff. This year we had a new auditor and we were pleasantly surprised by Liz’s expertise and help throughout the process.
We found the process very helpful with Global-Mark especially after being in the dark for so many years with previous companies who didn’t explain the process clearly or give us advice on what is needed in the future. We are very happy and confident with our outcome with Global-Mark and have already booked our audit in for next year.
